Mental Health Telephone Support
We offer a mental health telephone support service from 9 am until 5 pm each weekday, where you can speak to a member of our team. We are here to answer the phone to anyone who may be struggling with their mental health. Our phone number is 01423 503335.
Please note, this service is not for crisis situations. If you are in crisis or need immediate help, please visit our Crisis Support page.
Regular Telephone Support
Regular calls can be arranged, providing ongoing support and social connection.
You will receive six months of weekly 30 minute 1-to-1 telephone calls with a dedicated telephone support volunteer. During this time, your telephone support volunteer will work with you to understand your needs and help you work towards your personal goals. At the end of six months, we will assess your progress together and ensure you’re moving in a positive direction.
If additional telephone support is needed, we can offer another six months of support, transitioning to calls every fortnight.
After this, we will support you to transition out of the telephone support service. Where possible, we will help connect you with our other services, such as our wellbeing support groups, rural wellbeing support or befriending service, to continue your journey toward better mental health.
We are unable to provide indefinite telephone support, as our resources are needed to help others in the community. Demand for our service is high, and we aim to support as many people as possible.
Please note, this service is not intended for crisis situations. If you are in crisis or need immediate help, please visit our Crisis Support page.
