Route One Men

Men’s mental health matters, and no two journeys are the same. Across the Harrogate district, a new range of dedicated support is available for men looking to improve their wellbeing, build connections, and feel less alone, whether through talking, shared activities, learning new skills, or being active together. These free groups offer welcoming, judgement free spaces designed to suit different interests, confidence levels, and needs. Explore the options below to find the support that feels right for you.

Love being active outdoors? The Orb have teamed up with Knaresborough Forest Park to help protect and develop a new community green space. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, get involved in activities including planting trees, hedges, repairing buildings for community use and to play an active role in wildlife conservation. Cue and Connect

Cue and Connect is a welcoming men’s group run by Mind in Harrogate District that brings conversation and connection together in a relaxed, friendly setting. On Wednesdays from 2 – 4pm, we meet in a local community games room for one hour of supported wellbeing discussion, followed by an hour of playing pool. It’s a chance to talk, listen, and connect with others who may be feeling isolated, lonely, or experiencing low‑level mental health challenges. Whether you come for the conversation, the game, or both, Cue and Connect offers a supportive space to build confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging.
