Men’s Group Visit The Royal Armouries
Nige and the men’s group have been having a ferocious time at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds! When they weren’t dressing up as Vikings they were exploring the museum and also took a trip on the water taxi. More outside visits are planned, including the National Railway Museum in York.
The Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds is the home of the UK’s national collection of arms and armour and is free to visit with its five floors of galleries. Over 4,500 objects are on display in the purpose-built museum, showing how arms and armour have shaped society, art, and culture throughout history. You can also enjoy watching historic armour and weapons brought to life as a Live Interpretation Team use live combat demonstrations to show you how they were used.
